There is an excellent restaurant (Bernhauer's Genussrestaurant) just around the corner.
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Vienna. Granted, it isn't actually a hotel, but a dormitory, which is is operated as a hotel during the summer months, but I wouldn't even choose it if was a student and if was looking for a dormitory. Unfortunately it was on of few places left that week, now I know why though ...

The rooms and the bed clothes were clean. The staff was quite friendly. Breakfast were OK. Appreciated the variety of beverages you could chose between (hot chocolate, Vienna melange, coffee, tea, cappucino, etc)
It's definitely not downtown. As long as it was a last minute booking and we had a discout on our room (58 instead of 76 or smth) - it was ok. But if you have some more time and the same amount of money in your pocket - better book a good room in a nice hostel than in this hotel. I think I would be furisou if I have booked this room for more than 70 euros per day. Not counting making the bed (I don't think they've changed the sheets during our 4-day stay) they dont' clean the room. But honestly, there's not much space to clean - the room was teeeeny-tiny))) Too much noise, as the neighbouring house was under construction. The good was that the district was very nice, there were quite a few pubs, stores and cafes

Really great location, really affordable. Has everything you need for a hotel in Vienna. Great value.
Very loud. Walls are paper thin. The place is a mix between a hostel and a hotel. While you have private rooms and baths, people there are more of the hostel crowd (coming in late, talking loud in the hallway late a night, etc).

I was there three nights; very good experience. Clean, comfortable, good location, and the breakfast was as expected and is normal in Europe.

Location is really good if you want to visit the city, easy access to public transportation lines. Although the bathroom was a little small, it was clean and usable. The hotel staff was friendly and operative.
Small bathroom. We stayed in a triple room but it seems to me it was designed as a double room, so the access to the table was difficult because of the third bed added in the room.

Not too much. The price is very expensive for the extremely small room with terrible parking. The people that work there are nice.
Price, parking, size of room, separate dorm cots to sleep on, breakfast was poor

Good location, especially if you don't mind walking few minutes to city center.

The hotel finds near the center. There is open cafe on the roof. The room is large.
The windowsills are dirty. The beds are sag down. The bath room and toilete are small. The bath has no shutter. My opinion it does not corresponds to two stars hotel. The breakfast is a very poor.

Very simple, but clean and comfortable enough to spend the night. Disadvantage: complicated access because the street was closed.

It certainly meets any potential desires for college dorm charm, however, with the advantage of a private shower bath. It offers excellent value without sliding below acceptability as it might quickly happen with London city hotels. It is in reasonable proximity to subway system stations, with enough interesting places in walking distance.
Posted information and staff are very security conscious with regards to theft from hotel rooms. Staff members were very helpful in storing valuables in the hotel's safe and retrieving them when needed. It is an added inconvenience and perhaps an acceptable trade-off.
